History:

Formula 1 has been racing a the Circuit de Catalunya since 1991. Formula 1 teams also use this track as testing.

This track offers the hardest task for the drivers and the teams to get the right car balance and configuration. With the high and low speed corners and the bumpy surface, really does gives the drivers a task on their hands.

The circuit has very little overtaking opportunities so the penultimate corner makes the drivers lap, as they have to get great drive of the last corner to get a chance of overtaking before Elf corner.
